Common use of Equipment Operator I and II Clause in Contracts

Equipment Operator I and II. An employee in the Equipment Operator I classification may, at the discretion of the Department Head, be promoted to the Equipment Operator II classification even if there is not a current vacancy in the Equipment Operator II classification, on the condition that the employee has demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Department Head that the employee can safely and efficiently perform all the required duties of the Equipment Operator II classification.
