The Lessee must ensure that the exclusion zone will be monitored by a protected species observer around a survey vessel actively using electromechanical survey equipment. The Lessee may not use HRG survey devices that emit sound levels that exceed the 180 dB Level A harassment zone boundary without approval by the Lessor. As a condition of approval, the Lessor may impose additional, relevant requirements on the Lessee, including but not limited to, required expansion of this exclusion zone.
