Establishment of Salary Status. a. The category and number of years experience shall be known as a teacher's salary status. b. It shall be the responsibility of the individual employee to establish salary status with the Board by submitting all documentation required to establish such salary status. c. Such documentation shall be submitted within two months of commencement of employment. d. If delays in obtaining the necessary documentation are caused by circumstances beyond the employee's control, the Board shall extend the time limit upon written request of the employee. e. The Board shall advise the employee, in writing, of any incomplete documentation and shall pursue the matter with the employee. f. The Board shall notify the employee, in writing, of the category and the experience placement that has been assigned.
