Evaluation of Teaching Performance. 12.1 Both the Board and the teachers agree that one purpose of evaluation is to complement and improve the overall instructional program of Vienna High School as well as remediate inefficiencies and provide positive reinforcement for individual teachers of the system. Further, both parties recognize the importance and value of developing a procedure for assisting and evaluating the classroom teaching process. 12.2 An evaluation form will be cooperatively designed by the administration and a faculty committee. The evaluation form will be submitted to the Board of Education for final approval. The evaluation form will be subject to annual review with any changes submitted to the Board of Education for approval prior to using the form for evaluation purposes. 12.3 Content of the evaluation plan will comply with the minimum requirements listed in Chapter 105 of the Illinois School Code.
