Common use of Evening Shift Premium Clause in Contracts

Evening Shift Premium. Any employee who is required and authorized to work at any time between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. the following day shall be paid an evening shift premium in addition to his or her regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of one ($1.00) dollar per hour for each such hour and majority of an hour worked.
