Common use of Evening Shift Premium Clause in Contracts

Evening Shift Premium. Any employee who is required and authorized to work at any time between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. the following day shall be paid an evening shift premium in addition to his or her regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of one ($1.00) dollar per hour for each such hour and majority of an hour worked.

Evening Shift Premium. The shift premium shall be paid for all hours to include overtime and majority hours worked on a General Holiday set forth in Article 9 of an hour workedthis Agreement.”

Any Where the majority of hours worked by an employee who is required occurs between 3:00 pm and authorized to work at any time between the 7:00 am, such employee shall receive forty cents ($0.40) per hour for all hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. the following day shall be paid an evening worked on their shift premium in addition to his or her regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of one ($1.00) dollar per hour for each such hour and majority of an hour workedany other applicable shift premium.
