Common use of Evidence of Financial Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Evidence of Financial Responsibility. The Full Service Deputy(ies) shall not issue motor vehicle registration license receipts/stickers to any applicant who fails to submit with the application for registration and/or title transfer evidence of financial responsibility that complies with Tex. Transp. Code Xxx. §502.046 and in accordance with such written instructions as may be promulgated by the County Tax Assessor-Collector and/or the Texas Department of Transportation. Failure to comply is not only against the law, but shall constitute a breach of this contract pursuant to Paragraph 26 of this contract and shall result in proceedings to terminate this contract.
