Common use of Exceptions to Agreement Assignment Clause in Contracts

Exceptions to Agreement Assignment. Notwithstanding 9.01 above, the parties may agree in writing to submit the matter to a Sole Arbitrator instead of a Board of Arbitration. When such an agreement is reached, the parties shall each pay one-half the fees and expenses of the sole arbitrator. The limitations imposed on a Board of Arbitration outlined in Article 9.03 shall apply to the Sole Arbitrator.
