Common use of EXCEPTIONS TO LENGTH OF DAY Clause in Contracts

EXCEPTIONS TO LENGTH OF DAY. The following exceptions shall apply to the above length of school day provision: 10.1.3.1] EVENING MEETINGS Teachers may be required to attend up to three (3) evening sessions per year, each session not to exceed three (3) hours, for the purpose of conferences with parents, open houses, concerts, or programs, or other school business. Teachers of art, music, physical education, gifted and talented, special education, and guidance counselors may be required to attend an additional three (3) evening meetings beyond those outlined in section 10.1.3.1, above. Each session is not to exceed three (3) hours.
