Common use of Excessive Floor Load Clause in Contracts

Excessive Floor Load. Landlord shall have the right to prescribe the weight and method of installation of safes, computer equipment, and other heavy fixtures or equipment. Tenant will not install in the Demised Premises any item of Tenant's Property or fixtures that will place a load upon the floor exceeding the designed floor load capacity of the floor and the Building. Landlord may prescribe the placement and positioning of all such objects within the Demised Premises and/or Building, and, if necessary, such objects shall be placed upon platforms, plates or footings of such size as Landlord shall prescribe. All damage done to the Building or the Demised Premises by installing or removing a safe or any other article of Tenant's Property or fixtures, or due to its being in the Demised Premises, shall be repaired at the expense of Tenant.
