Exchange Time. Exchange Time allows an employee to request time off during a scheduled workday to be made up within the workweek (Sunday through Saturday). Granting of Exchange Time will be subject to business needs as determined by the Company. If the Company approves an employee’s request for such time off, it shall designate the time within the same workweek when the absence shall be made up.
Exchange Time. The appointing authority or their designee will approve overtime exempt employee absences with pay for extraordinary or excessive hours worked, without charging leave. Excess hours may be documented and accrued for later use as “exchange time.” Exchange time may be used for purposes that would otherwise require the use of vacation and/or sick leave.
Exchange Time. The Mentor may count the mentoring experience as the seven (7) clock hours of staff development as required in Article 11.07 or the Mentor may take an exchange day. The day to be exchanged must be approved, in advance, by the building principal.
Exchange Time. 21.1 Where the position allows and no replacement is required, an employee may be granted up to four (4) days of exchange time. Such time will be made up as determined by the school principal/supervisor during the current school year.
Exchange Time. Request of exchange time is at the discretion of the employee and must be submitted to their manager for approval. Exchange time can be used in lieu of compensatory time accrual or overtime pay, subject to the applicable local, state or federal regulations. The employee that makes such a request, will designate the time within the same workweek when time will be replaced or covered.
Exchange Time. Members may exchange time within the Department under the following conditions:
A. Inter-unit trading is permissible.
B. No buying of Xxxxx time will be allowed.
C. The Fire Department will not assume any responsibility for any time lost to any member.
D. Should any change of time cause a detriment to the Fire Department, in the opinion of the Battalion Chief, he may refuse to grant permission for the change.
E. Any member who is scheduled to work and makes arrangements to have another employee work on his/her behalf, is responsible to have the shift (hours) covered. If the time is not covered for any reason, the scheduled member will owe the City the number of hours that were not worked, to be paid back at the City's convenience.
F. The member working for another member shall report to duty in a condition to be able to perform the duties as prescribed by the officer in charge.
G. When a member demands he/she be paid back time owed on a holiday, it shall be only by mutual agreement with the member that owes the time.
H. Battalion Chiefs shall be permitted to trade time with Battalion Chiefs or senior Captains.
I. Captains shall be permitted to trade time with Battalion Chiefs, Captains, or senior Lieutenants.
J. Lieutenants shall be permitted to trade time with Captains, Lieutenants, or senior Engineers.
K. Engineers shall be permitted to trade time with Lieutenants, Engineers or Second Engineers.
L. No member shall owe more than five (5) days at one time.
Exchange Time. The consummation of the Exchange contemplated hereby (the “Exchange Time”) shall take place at the Exchange Closing on the Exchange Closing Date.
Exchange Time. Unlimited exchange time shall be permitted between members provided that the member working exchange time meets all the minimum specification requirements for the classification in which he/she is working. No financial remuneration shall be permitted.
Exchange Time. This Article has been modified by an MOU effective May 26, 2022.
14.1 Assistant attorneys general are expected to devote all the time necessary to deliver the highest quality legal and administrative services. This may require working beyond their regular schedule. Exchange time is a benefit in the form of time off for extraordinary hours worked. It is intended to encourage retention of valuable employees without impeding services to the public or preventing the office from accomplishing its mission.
