Extra Teacher Load Compensation. The following provisions shall apply to all situations requiring teaching (substituting) during a teacher's preparation period. 1. Secondary teachers may be asked to volunteer to substitute teach during their preparation period. 2. A teacher who substitute teaches during their preparation period shall be compensated thirty dollars ($30.00) for each block preparation period lost.
