Common use of FAA Type Certification Basis Clause in Contracts

FAA Type Certification Basis. (a) The FAA shall develop its type certification basis using the applicable airworthiness standards (14 CFR) in effect on the date application was made to EASA, or where applicable an AA, for its type certificate. (When 14 CFR part 26 applies to a European transport category airplane, the applicable standard is the amendment in effect on the date the FAA type certificate is issued.)
