Faculty Work Assignment. A. The President of the College or the President’s designee shall consider as advisory written notice from each faculty member and/or department chairperson/curriculum coordinator as to the preferred schedule and courses to be taught. Such written notice must be received by the President of the College or the President’s designee by February 28 for the fall semester and by September 30 for the spring semester. The President of the College or the President’s designee shall notify in writing each faculty member of that faculty member’s tentative schedule and courses by March 31 for the fall semester and by October 31 for the spring semester. B. Whenever changes in the tentative class schedule or subject matter are necessary, the President or the President’s designee shall notify the affected faculty member(s) in writing at that faculty member’s official residence or temporary address supplied by the faculty member on leave. The change in the tentative class schedule or subject matter preparation shall be consistent with Section 12.01.
