Common use of Family Medical Leave (with Full Pay Clause in Contracts

Family Medical Leave (with Full Pay. 14.6.1 A teacher may request in writing up to one (1) day leave with pay, consistent with the normal hours of work on that day, in each school year to attend to the medical concerns of members of the teacher’s family. Such request must be made to the Superintendent one week prior to the day of leave unless such leave is due to a medical emergency. In such cases the teacher shall submit a request in writing within one week of the day of leave.
