Family Member Eligibility For purposes of this section, “eligible family member” shall be defined by the Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act and includes domestic partners that have been certified with the Secretary of State’s office in accordance with AB 26 (Chapter 588, Statutes of 1999).
Family The District shall contribute no less than eighty percent (80%) of the total cost of the premium toward family coverage. The employee shall pay the difference between the District contribution and the total cost of the premium for family dental coverage.
Family Member Family member is defined as the employee’s spouse or same or opposite sex domestic partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild, sister, or brother. Family member also includes individuals in the following relationships with the employee’s spouse or domestic partner: child, parent and grandparent. “Child” also includes any child residing in the employee’s home through xxxxxx care, legal guardianship or custody. Family members include those persons in a “step” relationship.
Family Illness The start of a family leave for a serious health condition of a family member shall begin on the date requested by the employee or designated by Management.
Family Members Family Members shall mean, with respect to any individual, any Related Person, Family Trust, Family Limited Liability Company or Family Limited Partnership of such individual.
Family Leave 1. An Appointing Authority shall grant to a full time or part time employee who has completed his/her probationary period, or if there is no such probationary period, has been employed for at least three consecutive months, an unpaid leave of absence for up to twenty-six (26) weeks in conjunction with the birth, adoption or placement of a child as long as the leave concludes within twelve (12) months following the birth or placement.
Family and Domestic Violence Leave 46.1 For the purposes of this clause, “family and domestic violence” and “family member” are defined in the Award.
