FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Contractor warrants that it complies with all Federal Immigration laws and regulations that relate to its employees and complies with A.R.S. § 23-214(A) and that it requires the same compliance of all subcontractors under this Contract. Contractor acknowledges that pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-4401 and effective September 30, 2008, a breach of this warranty is a material breach of this Contract subject to penalties up to and including termination of this Contract. The City retains the legal right to audit the records of the Contractor and inspect the papers of any employee who works for the Contractor to ensure compliance with this warranty and the Contractor shall assist in any such audit. The Contractor shall include the requirements of this paragraph in each contract with subcontractors under this Contract. If the Contractor or subcontractor warrants that it has complied with the employment verification provisions prescribed by sections 274(a) and 274(b) of the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act and the E-verify requirements prescribed by A.R.S. § 23-214(A), the Contractor or subcontractor shall be deemed to be in compliance with this provision. The City may request proof of such compliance at any time during the term of this Contract by the Contractor and any subcontractor.

  • Federal Immigration and Nationality Act The contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local immigration laws and regulations relating to the immigration status of their employees during the term of the contract. Further, the contractor shall flow down this requirement to all subcontractors utilized during the term of the contract. The State shall retain the right to perform random audits of contractor and subcontractor records or to inspect papers of any employee thereof to ensure compliance. Should the State determine that the contractor and/or any subcontractors be found noncompliant, the State may pursue all remedies allowed by law, including, but not limited to; suspension of work, termination of the contract for default and suspension and/or debarment of the contractor.

  • Laws and Regulations All Equipment, Products, or Services provided under this Contract must comply fully with applicable federal laws and regulations, and with the laws in the states and provinces in which the Equipment, Products, or Services are sold.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH STATUTES AND REGULATIONS a) Contractor warrants and certifies that in the performance of this Contract, it will comply with all applicable statutes, rules, regulations and orders of the United States and the State of California and agrees to indemnify the State against any loss, cost, damage or liability by reason of Contractor’s violation of this provision.

  • CODES AND REGULATIONS The Contractor shall strictly comply with all Federal, State and local codes and regulations.

  • Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations (a) The Company shall not be required to issue or deliver any Shares pursuant to this Agreement pending compliance with all applicable federal and state securities and other laws (including any registration requirements or tax withholding requirements) and compliance with the rules and practices of any stock exchange upon which the Company’s Shares are listed.

  • Compliance with Federal Law, Regulations, and Executive Orders This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund the contract only. The contractor will comply will all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives.
