FIELD SURVEY, DESIGN AND COST ESTIMATE. Before constructing facilities to provide electric service to an applicant, a DSO representative shall meet with the applicant for a field survey. DSO’s representative shall determine the appropriate line extension design in conjunction with the applicant and stake the project, if applicable. Subsequent field visits and design may be required, as deemed necessary by DSO. DSO shall develop a cost estimate for the project based upon the current year’s construction prices, less any credits. The estimated cost is the total cost of all construction, including labor and materials, engineering, overheads and all other costs directly attributable to the extension. The net cost estimate shall be paid by the applicant prior to scheduling construction of the project. If line extension construction encounters unforeseen conditions (e.g., rock, water, frost, etc.), then DSO may require additional funds. DSO bears the sole discretion to determine what shall be required of the applicant. If more than one applicant (group) requests service on the same line extension, then a cost estimate shall be provided to the group showing the amount that is to be shared by that group. If requested by the group, then the total cost estimate can be split into individual cost summaries; however, additional engineering deposit fees may be assessed for this cost division. Otherwise, it is the responsibility of the group to determine each participant’s share of the costs. If construction of a project is delayed into a succeeding year or years, then the cost estimate shall be revised by DSO to reflect the most current construction year’s pricing and additional funds may be secured from the applicant. DSO reserves the right to waive cost adjusting if special conditions or situations apply.

  • Notice to Proceed - Site Improvements The Recipient shall not commence, or cause to be commenced, any site improvements or other work on the Land until the Director has issued a Notice to Proceed to the Recipient. Such Notice to Proceed will not be issued until the Director is assured that the Recipient has complied with all requirements for the approval of a grant under Revised Code Sections 164.20 through 164.27 and has completed any land acquisition required by the Project. A Notice to Proceed shall be required for all Project prime contractors or direct procurement initiated by the Recipient following execution of this Agreement.

  • Cost Estimate An estimate of the total project cost including but not limited to direct expenses, indirect expenses, land cost, and capital expenses.

  • Construction Cost Estimate At 50% completion of the contract documents, the design team will present and submit copies of the project plans and manual. The Construction Administrator will prepare and issue the fourth of five construction cost estimates. The estimate shall be derived from actual takeoffs, subcontractor and vendor input, and material and labor cost data. All quantitative systems information shall be provided in detail.

  • Drawings and Specifications at the Project Site The Contractor shall keep at the Site at least one copy of the Contract Documents and Change Orders, all in good order and available to the Design Professional and to his representatives.

  • Title to Project Deliverables Contractor acknowledges that it is commissioned by the Authorized User to perform the services detailed in the Purchase Order. Unless otherwise specified in writing in the Bid or Purchase Order, the Authorized User shall have ownership and license rights as follows:

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Environmental Inspection at End of Agreement Term A. At Authority’s discretion, at least one hundred and twenty (120) days before the expiration or early termination of the Term as provided herein, Company will conduct an environmental inspection and examination of the Company Premises. At its discretion, Authority may complete environmental reviews to determine if recognized environmental conditions exist that could warrant soil and groundwater sampling. If warranted by the findings of Company or Authority’s inspection or if requested by Authority, a compliance audit or site assessment will be performed within the aforementioned time period by a qualified professional acceptable to Authority who will report the findings to Authority. The cost for professional consulting or engineering services required for such audit will be at the expense of Company. If a site assessment is conducted, Company agrees to pay all associated laboratory and testing fees incurred to test and analyze samples collected during the site assessment process. The Authority may also choose to conduct the compliance audit or site assessment. If the results of the assessment indicate that the Company Premises have been impacted by the release of Hazardous Substances, Company will immediately take such action as is necessary and will provide a substantial guaranty in a form and content acceptable to Authority that Company will clean up the contamination at its own expense, at no expense to Authority, and in accordance with Applicable Laws to the extent that it is obligated to do so by virtue of the foregoing provisions of this Article.

  • Project Closeout a. Participate in final inspection to prepare punch lists for project contractor to correct and/or to complete listed items. Verify that items on punch lists have been completed successfully assist COUNTY Project Manager or designee to determine completion date and coordinate project close out.

  • Phase I a. In Phase I, the project will be connected as a tap to the Transmission Owner’s 230kV transmission line MWP-2 via one 230kV circuit breaker in series with one of two ring bus breakers for stuck breaker protection (one in each direction) and a tie-line breaker, as shown on the one-line diagram labeled CL-E-IA-01 attached to this Appendix A as Figure 1. The changes to the existing MWP-2 line protection for this arrangement are described in Phase I System Upgrades in Section II of this Appendix A.
