Common use of File Review Clause in Contracts

File Review. The employee may request his personnel file upon a written request; such request must be submitted five (5) days prior to the date of review. Should an employee, upon review of his personnel file, observe materials of a negative or derogatory nature, the employee may provide a written and signed comment or rebuttal, and such response shall be attached to the material in question. The comments or rebuttals shall remain in the file with the adverse material.
