Common use of FILLING POSITIONS AND TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENTS Clause in Contracts

FILLING POSITIONS AND TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENTS. The University will fill positions in a timely fashion. In instances where there will be a delay or the position will not be filled, the Union will be notified in writing regarding the distribution of specific duties to individual employees. The work will be temporarily assigned to staff members, students and temporary employees or some combination of the above. The temporary assignment will take into consideration the workload of those affected. The temporary assignment will not exceed six (6) months.
