Firepit. It is imperative that Guest uses an abundance of common sense when burning a fire in the fire pit outdoors. Do not ever produce a roaring fire with embers lifting into the air as this could lead to embers landing on the deck or home and damage and/or disaster could follow. Children should be always watched to avoid such events and to avoid injury to them. A shovel is located on the rear patio (Black Walnut Cottage) and on the side of the home (Blue Birch Cottage). In case of emergency, this shovel can also be used to gather dirt/sand from the surrounding acreage to place on a fire.

Firepit. It is imperative that Guest uses an abundance of common sense when burning a fire in the fire pit on the lower patio. Do not ever produce a roaring fire with embers lifting into the air as this would lead to embers landing on the deck, hot tub cover, or home and damage and/or disaster could follow. Children should be always watched to avoid such events and to avoid injury to them. A shovel is located under deck, near the grill, for cleaning out the fire pit after use (when completely cooled). In case of emergency, this shovel can also be used to gather dirt/sand from the surrounding acreage to place on a fire.
Firepit. The venue provides a firepit for contained fires and we will supply the wood for such. Fires anywhere else on the property are absolutely prohibited.
Firepit. Please do not throw any garbage into Firepit. Use only the firewood provided, located along side tree line in fenced in cage. You can use paper, cardboard or fire starters (available at Ace Hardware) to start fire. Please don’t throw any flammable product into fire. Please use the chairs & tables in the fenced in area for firepit. Please return the chairs when before departing.

  • Welding Welding and use of cutting torches or cutoff saws will be permitted only in areas that have been cleared or are free of all material capable of carrying fire. Flammable debris and vegetation must be removed from within a minimum 10-foot radius of all welding and cutting operations. A shovel and a 5-gallon standard backpack water container filled and with handpump attached shall be immediately available for use in the event of a fire start. No more than 3 years shall be added to a contract's term by market-related contract term addition unless the following conditions are met:

  • Firefighters Any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be regularly and routinely staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters for the period of time that the aerial ladder is inoperative, or until such time as the truck with the inoperative aerial ladder is replaced with a truck with an operative aerial ladder. At 0800 and 2000 hours, all trucks shall be staffed with one (1) officer and four (4) firefighters, and any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters.
