Fixed. term library faculty member rank is based on years of experience, at the discretion of the Library Director. Initial appointment at the rank of Instructor, Senior Instructor I or Senior Instructor II normally requires: 1. A master’s degree in Library & Information Studies from an ALA accredited program. 2. Evidence of and continuing potential for professional performance of assigned responsibilities either through academic or professional experience.
