Common use of Flexible Employee Clause in Contracts

Flexible Employee. Flexible employees serve in either continuing or temporary positions. Work may be scheduled in advance or on an “as needed” basis. Flexible employees are most appropriately used in positions that meet temporary or seasonal workforce needs, or where the work schedule fluctuates due to inconsistent workload. Flexible employees may be scheduled for 0-40 hours per week and have no right to any particular work schedule or hours of work.
