Common use of Floor Load; Heavy Equipment Clause in Contracts

Floor Load; Heavy Equipment. Not to place a load upon any floor of the Premises exceeding the floor load per square foot area which such floor was designed to carry and which is allowed by law, which for purposes of this subsection, is 125 lbs. per square foot. Landlord reserves the right to prescribe the weight and position of all heavy business machines and equipment, including safes, which shall be placed so as to distribute the weight. Business machines and mechanical equipment which cause vibration or noise shall be placed and maintained by Tenant at Tenant's expense in settings sufficient to absorb and prevent vibration, noise and annoyance. Tenant shall not move any safe, heavy machinery, heavy equipment, freight or fixtures into or out of the Premises except in such manner and at such time as Landlord shall in each instance authorize.
