Common use of For Surgical Services Clause in Contracts

For Surgical Services. 1) Orphan on-call is defined as previously scheduled on-call which must be filled after the schedule is published due to illness or termination/resignation. In lieu of the hourly on-call pay rate specified above, surgical service employees will be paid at $5.00/hr for each hour of such on-call. If there are no volunteers to take orphan on-call, it will be assigned on a rotating basis.
