For WSP CVEO. In the event an employee is involved in the use of lethal force, the Employer will attempt to contact a Union Representative and inform him/her that a lethal force incident has occurred, the name of the involved employee, and the location of the incident. A supervisor at the scene will allow the employee to use Agency equipment to consult with a Union Representative. Employees involved in the use of lethal force will be allowed to consult with a Union Representative prior to being asked to give an oral or written statement about the use of lethal force. Such right to consult with a representative will not unduly delay the giving of the oral or written statement or prevent the Employer from obtaining critical information regarding the status of the incident, e.g. suspect(s) still at large or the location of critical evidence.
