Foregone Transport Fee. If County’s contractor that long-hauls transferable waste from the transfer station to the disposal facility would forgo its transport fees. The transport hauler might ask County recompense it for those fees. The transport hauler’s lost revenue would be difficult to determine. A portion of their foregone transport fees represent operations cost that they did not incur. County does not pay transport haulers on a cost-plus basis and does not know the portion of operating expenses, overhead, and profit/mark-up, which might be proprietary.
