Common use of Formal Discussions Clause in Contracts

Formal Discussions. The Local Union President or designee will be given rea- sonable notice, the opportunity to attend, and the opportunity to participate in formal discussions. A formal discussion is any meeting between one or more representatives of the Forest Service and one or more Bargaining Unit employees concerning any grievance, personnel policy or practice, or other general condition of employment.

Formal Discussions. The Local Union President or designee will be given rea- sonable notice, the opportunity to attendreasonable notice of, and the opportunity provided reasonable time to participate in be present at, formal discussions. A formal discussion is any meeting between one or more representatives of the Forest Service and one or more Bargaining Unit employees concerning any grievance, personnel policy or practice, or other general condition of employment. The Local Union will be given the opportunity to attend and participate when the Local Union deems appropriate. Examples of formal discussions include family meetings, Continuous Improvement Process or similar meetings, grievance meetings (See Article 9), and orientation meetings (See Article 13).
