Formal Grievance Contents. In reducing a grievance to writing, the following information must be stated with reasonable clearness: a) the exact nature of the grievance; b) the act or acts of commission or omission; c) the dates of the act or acts; d) the identity of the party or parties alleged to have caused the grievance; e) the specific provisions of the Agreement alleged to have been violated; and, f) the remedy that is sought.
