Common use of Formal Level (Level II) Clause in Contracts

Formal Level (Level II). 5.4.1 In the event the grievant wishes to appeal the decision at Level I, he/she must do so on the appropriate form to the Superintendent or his/her designee within ten (10) days. 5.4.2 This statement shall include a copy of the original grievance, the decision rendered, and a clear, concise statement of the reasons for the appeal. 5.4.3 The Superintendent or his/her designee shall communicate his/her decision to the employee in writing within ten (10) days after receiving the grievance. If the Superintendent or his/her designee does not respond within the time limits, the grievant may appeal to the next level. 5.4.4 Within the above time limits, either party may request a personal conference. 5.4.5 District will notify Association when a grievance reaches Level II.
