Formal Procedure Step One. 18.3.1 Within thirty (30) days after the occurrence of the alleged act or omission giving rise to the grievance, the grievant must present his/her grievance in writing on the Statement of Grievance form to his/her immediate manager. The Statement of Grievance shall name the employee(s) involved, state the facts giving rise to the grievance, the specific provisions of this agreement alleged to be violated, the contention of the grievant, the specific remedy sought and the decision rendered at the informal conference. 18.3.2 Within ten (10) days after the receipt of the Statement of Grievance, the immediate manager shall communicate his/her decision in writing to the grievant.
