Fragile and Perishable Items. Carrier reserves the right to determine that fragile, perishable or high value items are unsuitable for carriage and to refuse to carry them on the flight. If Charterer requests that such items be carried after a determination by Carrier not to carry them because of the risk of damage to such items and Carrier accedes to the request, such carriage shall be at the sole risk of Charterer and Charterer shall indemnify Carrier for any such damages arising from the carriage of such items.

Fragile and Perishable Items. Fragile and Perishable Items as Baggage Carrier, in its discretion, may refuse to accept any fragile or perishable goods. For domestic transportation, Carrier assumes no liability for fragile or perishable goods. If Carrier does accept such goods for transportation, in the case of domestic transportation it reserves the right to require the Passenger to sign a limited release with respect to such goods. In the case of domestic transportation, Carrier shall not be responsible for loss, damage or delay of such fragile items whether or not such a limited release has been signed by the Passenger. Fragile items include, without limitation, items such as bicycles, blueprints, cameras, ceramics, china, crystal, dolls, figurines, flash equipment, flowers, glass or glass containers, lenses, maps, mirrors, models, musical instruments or equipment, paintings, perfumes, makeup, liquids, bottles, plants, sculptures, strollers, trophies, vases and wines. Perishable items include, without limitation, items such as fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, poultry, bakery products and other forms of food, flowers and floral displays and plants. Such items may also be subject to applicable agriculture rules of the destination jurisdiction. Dry ice shipments are limited by dangerous goods regulations and are discussed separately in Section 15.

  • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • GARBAGE DISPOSAL, RECYCLING, AND BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS A. Concessionaire shall be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Concession Premises. Concessionaire shall ensure placement of all garbage and trash generated by the Concession Operation in designated containers and that said containers are emptied daily, or as more frequently required by Department, at a location within the Area designated by Department. Disposal costs from this latter location shall be borne by Department. Concessionaire shall provide such additional trash containers as may be required to keep the immediate Concession Premises clean at all times. The type of trash containers provided by Concessionaire shall be approved by Department prior to use.

  • Controlled Substances Has current controlled substances registrations issued by the State of Colorado and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, which registrations have not been surrendered, suspended, revoked or restricted in any manner;

  • Infectious Diseases The Employer and the Union desire to arrest the spread of infectious diseases in the nursing home. To achieve this objective, the Joint Health and Safety Committee may review and offer input into infection control programs and protocols including surveillance, outbreak control, isolation, precautions, worker education and training, and personal protective equipment. The Employer will provide training and ongoing education in communicable disease recognition, use of personal protective equipment, decontamination of equipment, and disposal of hazardous waste.

  • Dangerous Materials Tenant shall not keep or have on the Premises any article or thing of a dangerous, flammable, or explosive character that might substantially increase the danger of fire on the Premises, or that might be considered hazardous by a responsible insurance company, unless the prior written consent of Landlord is obtained and proof of adequate insurance protection is provided by Tenant to Landlord.

  • Infectious Disease Where an employee produces documentary evidence that:

  • Cosmetic Surgery Any non-medically necessary surgery or procedure whose primary purpose is to improve or change the appearance of any portion of the body to improve self-esteem, but which does not restore bodily function, correct a diseased state, physical appearance, or disfigurement caused by an accident, birth defect, or correct or naturally improve a physiological function. Cosmetic Surgery includes, but is not limited to, ear piercing, rhinoplasty, lipectomy, surgery for sagging or extra skin, any augmentation or reduction procedures (e.g., mammoplasty, liposuction, keloids, rhinoplasty and associated surgery) or treatment relating to the consequences or as a result of Cosmetic Surgery.

  • Dangerous Goods You warrant that the Goods do not include any firearms or goods which are or may become of a dangerous, corrosive, highly combustible, explosive, damaging or noxious nature nor likely to encourage any vermin or pest unless You have disclosed to Us in writing the presence and nature of any such items prior to them being made available to Us for loading or storage. We may refuse to remove or store such items. If We discover any article or substance of this nature after the Goods have been received by Us, We may take any reasonable action, including destruction or disposal, as We may think fit without incurring any liability to You.

  • Safe Equipment The City shall furnish and maintain in the best possible working condition, within the limits of its financial capability, the necessary tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment required for members to safely carry out their duties. Members are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices, for avoiding negligence, and for properly using and caring for tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment provided by the City.

  • Infection Control Consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Guideline for Infection Control in Health Care Personnel, and University Policy 3364-109-EH-603, the parties agree that all bargaining unit employees who come in contact with patients in the hospital or ambulatory care clinics will need to be vaccinated against influenza when flu season begins each fall. The influenza vaccine will be offered to all health care workers, including pregnant women, before the influenza season, unless otherwise medically contraindicated or it compromises sincerely held religious beliefs.
