Infectious Disease. The Employer shall provide Bargaining Unit Employees with information about residents' infectious diseases provided that such information does not compromise HIPAA or otherwise infringe upon residents' rights to confidentiality.
Infectious Disease. Where an employee produces documentary evidence that:
(a) the employee is infected with, or has been in contact with, an infectious disease as defined under the Notifiable Diseases Act; and
(b) by reason of any law of the Territory or any state or territory of the Commonwealth is required to be isolated from other persons; the CEO may grant:
(c) sick leave for any period during which the employee actually suffers from illness; or
(d) recreation leave in relation to any period during which the employee does not actually suffer from illness.
Infectious Disease. (a) An Employee who contracts an infectious disease in the course of their employment with the Employer and who is entitled to receive workers compensation will have any difference between workers compensation and the Employee’s ordinary salary made up by the Employer for up to three months.
(b) An Employee who contracts an infectious disease in the course of their employment with the Employer, who is not is not entitled to receive workers compensation and is certified by a Medical Practitioner approved by the Employer as having an infectious disease, will be paid their full pay during the necessary period off duty for up to three months.
(c) Pay granted under this subclause 62.9 will not be deducted from the Employee’s personal leave accrual.
Infectious Disease. The State and CAPT recognize the need to provide all Bargaining Unit 18 employees with training on the transmission and control of infectious diseases. To that end, all Bargaining Xxxx 00 employees shall be provided training in standard precautions. This training may include the following:
A. Identification of infectious disease(s) that are specific to the environment in which the employee works; and
B. General information regarding these diseases including, but not limited to the following: (a) how the disease is transmitted; (b) symptoms; (c) courses of treatment; and (d) methods and procedures that should be followed to prevent contracting the disease.
C. The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation shall offer Bargaining Xxxx 00 members the same training in infectious disease control and transmission that is offered to other medical and custody staff, provided that the subject matter of the training is directly related to the employee's required scope of practice and work assignment.
Infectious Disease. Due to the number of animals on the Stampede Park during the Exhibition, infectious disease is a concern and the Exhibitor agrees that any animal suspected of having an infectious disease should be isolated and examined by an Official Stampede Veterinarian immediately. In this regard and without limitation to any other provision contained herein, the Exhibitor agrees to comply with the prescribed isolation and quarantine protocols of the Stampede and, in the case of a reportable disease, the CFIA.
Infectious Disease. The City will provide required medical attention, including inoculations for employees or family members who either contract infectious disease or may be exposed to infectious disease that arises directly out of the work environment.
Infectious Disease excluding COVID-19, which is declared or notified as an epidemic by the applicable health authority in the covered destination or a pandemic by the WHO until such declaration or notification is lifted by the WHO or applicable health authority in the covered destination.
Infectious Disease. The employer will provide training and ongoing education in communicable disease recognition, use of personal protective equipment, decontamination of equipment, and disposal of hazardous waste.
