Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA. If a FOIA request is received for a teacher’s personal file or personnel file information, the teacher and/or Association will be notified of the request when it is received by an administrator. If the teacher indicates that he/she will challenge whether the information is disclosable under FOIA, the Board will take the maximum time permitted by the FOIA before it responds to the request. The Board will cooperate to the fullest extent of the law wherever possible including expunging or withholding material, which is legally not disclosable.
