General Conditions for Use. Except as provided in this Agreement, use of a Travel Restraint System shall be subject to all applicable provisions in 29 C.F.R. § 1910.140. The Travel Restraint Systems described in this Appendix A may be used for Covered Tasks. These descriptions are requirements when the systems are being installed by a Competent Person, and safe harbor guidance if the person designing the Travel Restraint System is a Qualified Person. A Qualified Person may, in the exercise of his/her knowledge, training and/or experience, determine that some of the criteria listed below may be modified.
