Common use of General Evaluation Process Clause in Contracts

General Evaluation Process. a. At the beginning of each school year, the evaluator will discuss with the certificated teaching and support personnel the Mount Baker School District evaluation procedures. b. Each certificated employee will be observed in an announced observation at least once for at least thirty (30) minutes by not later than February 1st. At least one more observation, announced or unannounced, must occur prior to May 1st. The total time of the two required observations must be not less than sixty (60) minutes. Feedback from the observation(s) will be given in a conference or with an observation report as determined by the evaluator. c. By May 1st, the evaluator will have completed the evaluation procedures for all certificated personnel for whom he/she has evaluation responsibilities. A signed copy of the final written evaluation report will be placed in the employee’s personnel file and a copy provided to the employee. d. Any employee may request at any time an informal observation that will include feedback from the evaluator. The request will be acted upon in a timely manner. e. Employees may request a conference with the evaluator at any time in the evaluation process.
