General Policies and Requirements. Employees are encouraged to utilize vacation time on a scheduled basis for rest and relaxation. Vacation opportunities will be defined on a unit basis, based on employees’ annual allotments (see 13.5.1), and shall be posted annually on the unit and distributed equitably throughout the year.
