Differential Pay. Section 1( A). Geographic Area Pay. Classifications C4115, C4116, C4207, C4209, C4211, C4213, C4215, C4221, C4223, C4225: Prevailing basic rates in specific geographical areas for employment of limited duration less than one hundred twenty (120) days will be approved. Employees paid at such rates will not be eligible for vacation, sick leave or holiday benefits. Such rates will be paid only for construction work.
Differential Pay. Graveyard Shift - fifty cents (50¢) per hour. Shift to be defined in Schedule "B" of this Agreement.

Differential Pay. (A) A shift differential in the amount of $1.00 per hour will be paid when it is the prevailing practice in the profession to pay shift differential and when the employee is assigned to a shift where a majority of the employee’s hours worked fall between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
(B) When justified and upon approval by the Secretary of Management Services or designee, subject to the availability of funds, a shift differential greater than $1.00 per hour may be paid when the criteria in (A) above are met and where the local competitive conditions justify a higher shift differential.
Differential Pay. 9.7.1 An additional payment given for certain responsibilities of positions assigned by management.
Differential Pay. All bargaining unit employees who begin a work shift at or after 2:00 p.m. and prior to 10:00 p.m. will receive a 30 cent per hour second shift differential for all hours worked, in addition to their regular rate of pay. All bargaining unit employees who begin a work shift at or after 10:00 p.m. and prior to 5:00 a.m. will receive a 40 cent per hour third shift differential for all hours worked, in addition to their regular rate of pay. New differential rates shall only become effective upon ratification and approval of this Agreement.
Differential Pay. (A) In addition to the employees’ regular rate of pay, differential pay shall be paid at the following rates for each hour worked in the respective shift. Afternoon Shift: $50.00 per bi-weekly pay period Night Shift: $55.00 per bi-weekly pay period The above differentials will be paid only when employees work in excess of one (1) hour outside of the following shifts: DAY 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. AFTERNOON 4:00 P.M. TO MIDNIGHT NIGHT MIDNIGHT TO 8:00 A.M. The Steno I Dispatcher position(s) will be paid 1.5 hours per day Night Differential. All employees whose normal work week includes work on Saturday or Sunday, shall receive one hour extra straight time pay for each Saturday or Sunday worked.
Differential Pay. Education Code Section 44977 grants each certificated employee five school months of extended illness leave for which the employee receives the difference between his/her salary and the salary that is actually paid to a substitute or would have been paid had one been employed (“differential pay leave”). A certificated employee may receive only one five-month period per illness or injury and per year, regardless of the number of reasons for the leave. This leave does not accumulate. This leave runs consecutively after the 10 days of current year sick leave and accumulated sick leave.
Differential Pay. Employees permanently assigned to the 2nd shift will be compensated at an additional rate of 10% of the hourly rate provided such employee's regular work day schedule is seven (7) or more hours.
