General Transportation Requirements. Contractor performance is required in a number of locations, many of which are accessible by paved roads, but some of which require effective and reliable off-road transportation. Worksites can be remote and/or limited in the number and type of vehicles that they can accommodate. The contactor may be responsible for moving hardware and test equipment; and for towing loads including but not limited to equipment trailers, weapons, and test modules on an as-needed basis. The contractor shall ensure that the transportation vehicles used in contract performance meet all relevant Navy standards specified at the Task Order level. The contractor shall ensure that contractor personnel who drive vehicles on Base shall have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance coverage, per FAR 52.228-7, and shall meet any other Government requirements that may be imposed upon drivers operating vehicles on Base.
