Compliance with Non-Discrimination Requirements. During the performance of this Agreement, Company, for itself, its assignees, successors in interest, subcontractors and consultants agrees as follows:
(1) Compliance with Regulations: Company will comply with the Title VI List of Pertinent Non-Discrimination Statutes and Authorities, as they may be amended from time to time, which are herein incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement.

Compliance with Non-Discrimination Requirements. During the performance of this Purchase Order, the Supplier, for itself, its assignees, and successors in interest, agrees as follows:
Compliance with Non-Discrimination Requirements. The Bureau agrees that:
1. The Bureau shall observe the provisions of the Kansas Act Against Discrimination (K.S.A. 44-1001 et seq.) and shall not discriminate against any person in the performance of work under the present Agreement because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, ancestry or age;
2. In all solicitations or advertisements for employees the Bureau shall include the phrase “equal opportunity employer” or a similar phrase to be approved by the Kansas Human Rights Commission (“Commission”);
3. If the Bureau fails to comply with the manner in which the Bureau reports to the Commission in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 44-1031 and amendments thereto, the Bureau shall be deemed to have breached the present Agreement, and it may be canceled, terminated or suspended, in whole or in part, by the contracting agency;
4. If the Bureau is found guilty of a violation of the Kansas Act Against Discrimination under a decision or order of the Commission which has become final, the Bureau shall be deemed to have breached the present Agreement, and it may be canceled, terminated or suspended, in whole or in part, by the contracting agency; and
5. The Bureau shall include the provisions of paragraphs 1 through 4 above in every subcontract or purchase order so that such provisions will be binding upon such subcontractor or vendor. The Bureau further agrees that the Bureau shall abide by the Kansas Age Discrimination In Employment Act (K.S.A. 44-1111 et seq.) and the applicable provision of the Americans With Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 1201 et seq.) as well as all other federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations applicable to this project and shall furnish any certification required by any federal, state or local laws, ordinances and regulations applicable to this project and shall furnish any certification required by any federal, state or local governmental agency in connection therewith.

2. Nondiscrimination: The Contractor, with regard to the work performed by it during the contract, will not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurements of materials and leases of equipment. The Contractor will not participate directly or indirectly in the discrimination prohibited by the Nondiscrimination Acts and Authorities, including employment practices when the contract covers any activity, project, or program set forth in Appendix B of 49 CFR part 21.
