(g) Should a new job be created, such extension one not covered by the existing schedule of minimums, the Employer shall establish the new job, designate its classification, and set the salary minimums. If the Union does not earn seniority creditsagree with the salary minimums set, it shall have the right, upon thirty (30) days advance notice, to enter into negotiations with the Employer relative to said salary minimums. If no agreement is reached within an additional thirty (30) days, the Union shall have the right to move to arbitration.
(h) Any employee who works in a higher classification shall receive the shift rate called for in that classification next higher than the employee's regular salary.

18.1.2 When an agency is contracted to provide temporary personnel services, rates paid for such services will be competitive. 18.2 Progression within the salary group from one level to another shall automatically occur at the start of the pay period nearest the employee’s semi-annual or annual anniversary date of appointment, transfer or promotion, to the salary level and group as a result of service within that salary group. Therefore if the anniversary date occurs within the first week of a pay period, the new rate will be applied from the start of that pay period; if the anniversary date occurs within the second week of the pay period, the new rate will be applied from the start of the next pay period.
18.3 A promotion is movement to a higher wage group. When an employee is promoted into a higher pay classification, the employee shall move into the higher salary group on the first day of the next complete pay period and receive a salary increase which would place the employee on the next higher wage step in the new group, and shall automatically progress upward on the annual or semi-annual anniversary date of the promotion.
18.4 Twice the net weekly salary (i.e., salary after a reasonable portion of the total monthly deductions have been made) plus any approved overtime and penalty payments for the preceding pay period will be paid not later than 1200 hours each second Thursday via direct deposit. Where a legal bank holiday occurs on a Friday, direct deposit will be available by 1200 hours the previous day.
18.4.1 Employees whose time sheets are amended by the Authority shall receive a copy of the amended timesheet.
18.5 In the event payday(s) occurs during an employee’s vacation period, the employee shall submit a written request fifteen (15) days in advance, in order to receive their vacation pay prior to going on vacation.
18.6 Any employee returning to work in his or her classification after layoff or leave of absence, shall return at the pay rate according to seniority at the time of the said layoff or leave. However, an employee returning to work after pregnancy or parental leave shall be credited with full service for the purpose duration of this clause, Contract provided that the leave is weekly hours a Part-time employee works shall not extended beyond ESA maximums. Should be reduced below the employee request and receive a leave number of hours for which they were hired.
(d) Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent employees from bargaining individually for pay increases in excess of the minimums established herein.
(e) Any dollar differential above the ESA maximumsminimums shall be maintained when minimums are increased or when any employee is advanced through operation of the experience progression schedule. Any employee advancing through the schedule of minimums shall receive the increases provided thereby on each anniversary.
(f) Should a new job be created, such extension one not covered by the existing schedule of minimums, the Employer shall establish the new job, designate its classification, and set the salary minimums. If the Union does not earn seniority creditsagree with the salary minimums set, it shall have the right, upon thirty (30) days advance notice, to enter into negotiations with the Employer relative to said salary minimums. If no agreement is reached within an additional thirty (30) days, the Union shall have the right to move to arbitration.
(g) Swing differential. Employees who are assigned to and perform the duties listed below shall be paid the corresponding differential. No more than one differential can be claimed per shift. GENERAL WAGE PROVISIONS. 18.1 41.1 Employees shall be paid according to the wage schedules in Article 19 in schedule of the classification to which they are assigned, with credit for years of service within the classification plus merit increases and any credit for industry experience recognized by the Authority Corporation at the time of hiring. However, if his current salary level is more than the maximum salary level for the preceding pay period lower wage group, his salary will be reduced to the maximum level of the lower wage group.
a) For ENG/EFP editor, group 8-9 promotion from group 8 to 9 is automatic after 3 years of continuous service in the job at the group 8 level.
b) For maintenance technicians, promotion from group A to group B shall occur once a year without posting for those who meet selection requirement and technical qualifications and who has a total of 3 years practical and relevant experience with at least one year as a maintenance technician in CBC.
c) For designers, promotion from group 8 to group 11 shall occur once a year without posting for qualified designers who have reached the maximum step of the group 8 for at least a year.
41.6 Employees will be paid not later than 1200 hours each on a bi-weekly basis with pay day occurring on the second Thursday via direct deposit. Where a legal bank holiday occurs of each fourteen (14) day period which begins on a Friday, direct deposit will be available by 1200 hours the previous dayMonday and ends on Sunday.
18.4.1 Employees whose time sheets are amended by the Authority 41.6.1 Overtime cheques shall receive a copy of the amended timesheet.
18.5 In the event payday(s) occurs during an employee’s vacation period, the employee shall submit a written request fifteen (15) days in advance, in order to receive their vacation pay prior to going on vacation.
18.6 Any employee returning to work in his or her classification after layoff or leave of absence, shall return be made at the pay rate according to seniority at the same time of the said layoff regular pay or leave. Howeverno later than the 19th calendar day following the end of the two (2) week overtime pay period.
41.6.2 On request, an employee returning to work after pregnancy or parental leave advance shall be credited with full service granted to an employee for any cheque that is not available through no fault of his own on the purpose normal date of this clause, provided distribution. Such advance to he recovered only from the original cheque in question.
41.6.3 The pay stub gives pertinent information so that the leave employee is not extended beyond ESA maximumsable to verify his pay.
41.6.4 The Corporation also undertakes to Indicate the period(s) covered by advance payroll cheque.
41.7 A contract may also be negotiated between an employee and the Corporation which will be in lieu of all or any of the provision concerning scheduling, including overtime up to a maximum of 25% of the base salary. Should The Corporation will inform the employee request and receive Union when such a leave contract is conceded.
41.8 The Corporation shall refund only minimum charges (obtained through the mail for driver’s license of above employees it requests to drive vehicles on a regular basis. The penalty arising from demerit points is as the ESA maximums, such extension shall not earn seniority creditsemployee’s expense.

15.6 An employee who reports late for an assignment may be subject to a reduction in pay when such lateness is not due to circumstances beyond the control of the employee, (e.g., Act of God). For purposes of determining the amount of reduction the employee's total tour of duty may be reduced by the Authority shall receive a copy period of lateness calculated to the end of the amended timesheet.
18.5 In the event payday(s) occurs during an employee’s vacation period, quarter hour in which the employee shall submit a written request fifteen (15) days in advance, in order to receive their vacation pay prior to going on vacationreported for duty.
18.6 Any employee returning to work in his or her classification after layoff or leave of absence, shall return at the pay rate according to seniority at the time of the said layoff or leave. However, an employee returning to work after pregnancy or parental leave shall be credited with full service for the purpose of this clause, provided that the leave is not extended beyond ESA maximums. Should the employee request and receive a leave of above the ESA maximums, such extension shall not earn seniority credits.
