Geotechnical Data Analysis Sample Clauses

Geotechnical Data Analysis. Complete a geotechnical study and provide design parameters and construction recommendations for the Project. The engineering evaluation and analyses must be performed in accordance with the ODOT Geotechnical Design Manual (June 2018). Geotechnical analysis shall include: • Evaluation of subsurface conditions • Evaluation of site-specific seismic hazards, including design ground motions, and seismic slope stability of proposed new slopes and retaining walls • Evaluation of global stability of new slopes and new retaining walls • Design and construction recommendations for the retaining walls • Evaluation of existing pavements • Design and construction recommendations for new pavements, to both 20-year, and 30-year, for concrete. The roadway is anticipated to be asphalt and the roundabouts to be concrete.

Geotechnical Data Analysis. Consultant shall perform analyses of the field and laboratory test data to develop recommendations for the design and construction of key geotechnical features, such as earthwork, embankments and natural slopes, rock cuts, retaining walls, sign structure foundations, and bridge foundations. Consultant shall conduct the analyses and designs in accordance with current ODOT GDM, FHWA, and AASHTO design guidelines. Geotechnical engineering studies for the existing bridge approaching xxxxx must be performed based on the field explorations, available subsurface information obtained from Agency, and the as- constructed drawings. The geotechnical and geologic analysis must include: • Evaluation of subsurface conditions; • Evaluation of site-specific seismic hazards, including design ground motions, and seismic slope stability of proposed new slopes and retaining walls; • Design and construction recommendations for the bridge structures; • Evaluation of global stability of new slopes and new retaining walls; • Design and construction recommendations for the retaining walls; • Construction Considerations.
