Geotechnical Design Services. This task involves geotechnical investigations and analysis to evaluate subsurface conditions, slope stability hazards, and provide information for the design of the replacement bridge foundations and retaining walls. In order to evaluate site-specific geotechnical conditions, the consultant will conduct a geotechnical investigation consisting of research, reconnaissance, subsurface explorations, laboratory testing, engineering analyses, and consultation, as outlined below. The County will provide the pavement cross section therefore pavement design is not included in this scope of work.

Geotechnical Design Services. This task involves the continuation of geotechnical services required to support the design of the scour repairs and bank protection.
Geotechnical Design Services. Consultant shall perform preliminary geotechnical design for the proposed XX Xxxx Market Road improvements between American Lane and SE 15th Avenue. This scope includes geotechnical investigations and design for bridges, retaining walls, and cut and fill slopes. Tasks related to preliminary geotechnical design will include subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, geotechnical analysis, and a geotechnical report. Final geotechnical design and review of plans and specifications are not part of this scope. Tasks related to final geotechnical explorations, design and review of plans and specifications will be provided for the final design phase. Consultant shall perform the preliminary geotechnical design in accordance with the latest AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and the ODOT Geotechnical Design Manual (GDM).
