Government Appointed Mediator. In the interest of settling a grievance prior to an arbitration hearing either party may request the assistance of a grievance mediator from the Province of Manitoba Conciliation Services. In the event the costs of the mediator are not borne by the Province of Manitoba, the expenses and fees of the mediator shall be borne equally by the parties to the arbitration proceedings.
