Grievance Procedure Informal Resolution Procedure. The party asserting a grievance shall attempt to resolve the problem through informal communication with the appropriate Xxxx and Chair/Coordinator. When a cause for complaint occurs, the affected adjunct employee shall request a meeting with the Xxxx/Director in an effort to resolve the complaint. If the affected adjunct employee is not satisfied with the result of the meeting, he/she and/or HCAFA may formalize the complaint in writing as provided for in Level 1 of the formal grievance procedure set forth below. The informal resolution process shall be completed no later than twenty (20) days after the date of the occurrence giving rise to the grievance or from the date when the grievant might reasonably have become aware of the occurrence.
