Grievance Procedures and Due Process. In the event the Resident is suspended or terminated for any reason, or for non-promotion of a resident to the next level of training or other actions that could significantly threaten a resident's intended career development or if any dispute arises concerning Resident's eligibility to receive a Certificate of Completion of Graduate Medical Education (hereinafter "Certificate"), the Resident may exercise any and all due process rights in accordance with the GMEC Resident Grievance Policy and Procedure established by the GMEC and the CONSORTIUM Administration. THE GMEC RESIDENT GRIEVANCE POLICY AND PROCEDURE MUST BE UTILIZED IF THE RESIDENT WISHES TO CHALLENGE THE DECISION REGARDING SUSPENSION, TERMINATION OR ELIGIBILITY TO RECEIVE THE CERTIFICATE, AND IS A PRE-CONDITION TO SEEKING JUDICIAL RELIEF.
