Common use of Grievance Withdrawal/Failure to Appeal Clause in Contracts

Grievance Withdrawal/Failure to Appeal. Any employee may withdraw a grievance at any point by submitting a written statement or by permitting the time requirements at each step to lapse without further appeal. Any grievance, which is not processed by the employee within the time limits provided, shall be considered resolved based upon the Employer's last answer.
