Common use of Guarantee of Essential Services Clause in Contracts

Guarantee of Essential Services. When a matter is being dealt with under Clause 7 Grievance Procedure, employees will guarantee that any delivery that contains product or service, the absence of which will result in medical, personal or financial hardship for the general public, will not be effected by industrial action. This guarantee of service will cover all aspects of work including, but not limited to, loading and unloading of vehicles, driving of vehicles, receiving of deliveries, picking, packing and despatching.
