Handling Personal Information. Personal information is information that identifies, or permits one to contact an individual. It includes a Client’s, potential Client’s, Coach’s and prospective Coach’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card information, and other information associated with these details. Coaches who receive personal information from or about prospective Coaches or Clients have the responsibility to maintain its security. Coaches should shred or irreversibly delete the personal information of others once it is no longer needed. In addition, information regarding a Client’s or OPTAVIA Coach’s experience with Company products and/or programs cannot be revealed without his/her written permission; this includes use of personal testimonials.
