Common use of Health and Medical Benefits Clause in Contracts

Health and Medical Benefits. Eligible retirees and their eligible dependents and survivors shall have the right to continue their participation in the hospital and medical plans available to active employees, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Nothing in this Agreement, however, shall be construed as conveying any vested right to any particular plan, plan design, or plan component. The terms of the District's Health Benefits Program, as well as the plans available under the Program, remain subject to alteration by action of the Joint Labor/Management Benefits Committee or any future agreement between the District and the its exclusive representatives.
